CHARLESTON, WV -

The University of Charleston football team defeated Glenville State College on Homecoming, 17-10. The Golden Eagles went into halftime with a 14-3 lead. Glenville State College quickly pulled with four points after they returned the second half kick-off for a touchdown. Down 17 to 10, the Pioneers threw towards the end zone as time expired, but a UC defensive back made the interception. 

The Golden Eagles are now 3-3 overall and 3-1 in conference. UC will travel to West Virginia State University next Saturday. Kick-off is at 1 p.m.
