WV State unable to pick up first victory

West Virginia State University jumped out to a 10-7 lead after one quarter and had the game knotted at 17-all at half, but West Virginia Wesleyan pulled away in the second half winning 45-30.

Tyler Seals threw from 289 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw one interception. His top target on the day was Jon Cabral-Ramsey. Cabral-Ramsey caught seven passes for 124 yards as he found the end zone two times. 

Defensively, the Yellow Jackets picked off the ball four different times. Dominique Matthews had three of those interceptions. Romell Haley intercepted the other pass giving him five on the year. 

The Yellow Jackets (0-6, 0-5) will be back in action next Saturday as they return home to take on the University of Charleston.
