Tri-State high school football rankings

CHARLESTON, WV -

Huntington and Wayne remain the number one teams in class AAA and AA as the WVSSAC released their new football playoff rankings Tuesday afternoon.  In Class A, Valley remains at the #3 spot.

In Ohio, the Associated Press ranks their top ten teams in each division. Wheelersburg is #1 in Division V.

In Kentucky, the Associated Press ranks their top ten teams in each class as well. In class 4A, #3 Johnson Central and #10 Ashland Blazer.

In class 3A, #1 Belfry and #9 Lawrence Co.

In class 1A, #3 Fairview, #4 Pikeview, #7 Raceland and #8 Paintsville.

Here's a look at the top 16 teams in each class for West Virginia in our area.
