    The suspect is charged with public intoxication, and obstructing a police officer, both misdemeanors. She is also charged with the felony offense of possessing a firearm on the grounds of a secondary public school.

HUNTINGTON, WV -

A luncheon in Huntington, WV today honored both current and formerly homeless people working to make the city a little brighter.

Covenant House honored a group of volunteers known as the "Green Team". These volunteers are temporary workers who have picked up trash, watered flowers, and cleaned up the streets of downtown Huntington, WV.

Mayor Steve Williams issued a special proclamation thanking the team for their hard work.

Covenant House says their goal is to help homeless people build their resume with good references for future employment opportunities.
