BARBOURSVILLE, WV -

Officers are looking for two women they believe racked up more than $11,000 in stolen credit card purchases.

Officers with the Huntington Detachment of the West Virginia State Police say they are looking for two women they believe stole credit card from employees at the Huntington Museum of Art last week. Officers say the women walked into the art museum the afternoon of October 10 and went straight back to a room where employees kept their belongings. Officers say it took approximately two-and-a-half minutes for the women to go in and take the credit cards before they left and went on a $11,000 shopping spree.

Trooper W.G. Hash says he does not believe this was a first time theft by the suspects. "I doubt these are the only victims involved with these conspirators. You can see in the surveillance video they know where to go, along with using hand signals, plus they amount of money they spent in a short amount of time," Hash said.

The shopping spree started shortly after 1:38 p.m. when the credit cards were stolen and ended just before 6 p.m. the same afternoon.  Trooper Hash says they used the credit cards at several Barboursville businesses.  Hash says the women were last seen in a black Chevrolet Cruze.
