A suspicious trailer fire in Sissonville, WV is under investigation

SISSONVILLE, WV -

The West Virginia State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating a suspicious fire in Sissonville, WV.

According to 911 dispatchers, the fire broke out just before 5 p.m. on October 20, 2013 at the home in the 500 block of Craigs Branch Road. A neighbor called 911 after seeing smoke coming from the trailer.

When fire rescue crews from Kanawha County arrived on scene the trailer was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters tell WOWKTV.COM they were able to save the structure.

There are no injuries to report.

Fire investigators confirm there was no one at home when the blaze erupted. Neighbors say the owner of the trailer was looking to move it off the property.

They also say there was no electricity going to the home.

The damage estimates to the trailer have not been released.
