HUNTINGTON, WV -

West Virginia State Police troopers arrested a former employee of a state mental health facility for alleged misconduct. Ruben Fetty was taken into custody on Tuesday in Huntington according to State Police.

According to the criminal complaint, Fetty is accused of having thirteen nude and partially-nude pictures of three patients at Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital when he worked there. Troopers have said Fetty resigned and is cooperating with the investigation. Fetty is charged with several counts of criminal invasion of privacy, a misdemeanor.

State Police troopers say it's an upsetting situation for everyone involved. "It's not just an invasion of privacy, but now you have to consider it's a place of trust. Family members were upset and have a right to be upset," said Sgt. G.N. Losh with the West Virginia State Police.
