Suspect returns to the scene of the crime in Charleston, WV and is arrested

SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV -

UPDATE: 

Criminals sometimes return to the scene of the crime. And in this case, that is just what happened.

South Charleston, WV police have arrested Issac Woods and charged him in connection with a robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar Store.

The arrest happened sometime on Friday, Nov. 15.

He is currently being held in the South Central Regional Jail on a $10,000 bond. 

Additional charges may be pending. 

 

UPDATE:

A suspect in a robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar in South Charleston, WV has been arrested.

Moses Jamar Wright was in the store filling out an application and acting as lookout for the robber, according to the criminal complaint.  The complaint states Wright admitted to police he split the cash with the other suspect.

The second suspect has not been found.

Wright is being held at South Central Regional Jail and his bond is set at $50,000.

The South Charleston Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Family Dollar in 4900 block of MacCorkle Avenue.

The robbery happened just before 10 p.m., according to Kanawha Metro 911 dispatchers, just as employees were closing up the store for the night. No customers were inside at the time.

Dispatchers said that the suspect showed a silver hand gun and demanded money. He's described as 5'7" and about 160 pounds. The man was wearing a white tank top to cover his face, according to dispatchers. He also had on glasses, a red jacket and black Adidas shoes.

He got away in a maroon colored Grand Prix, headed west on MacCorkle Avenue, according to dispatchers.

K-9 units were being brought to the scene to search the surrounding area but lost the scent. Dispatchers said that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
