MORGANTOWN, WV (AP) -

An official from Kuwait is in Morgantown for an announcement about a new partnership between that nation and West Virginia University.

Cultural office director Abdul Azeez Al-Omar of the Kuwaiti embassy is scheduled to join WVU Health Sciences Chancellor Christopher Colenda on Tuesday afternoon.

A fourth-year dental student and WVU Health Sciences' director of global engagement will also attend the announcement.

WVU says three schools in the Health Sciences division will train Kuwaiti students in health professions to help meet that country's needs.
