The West Virginia Power, the Charleston-based Class A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, has unveiled an additional team logo for use during the upcoming 2014 season.

In conjunction with the 10th anniversary of Appalachian Power Park, the franchise will commemorate the campaign by paying tribute to the ballpark itself.

"We are thrilled to be able to celebrate the 2014 season by paying tribute to the facility that the Power calls home," Power General Manager Tim Mueller said. "Appalachian Power Park has become a major part of this community and been a big factor in helping revitalize Charleston's East End."

Over the first nine years of the stadium's existence, nearly two million fans have entered the gates for West Virginia Power, college and high school baseball games, concerts, charity events and community functions.  Appalachian Power Park played host to the 2009 South Atlantic League All-Star Game and has also been the site of the World Championship Chili Cook-off and the American Cornhole Championship.
