ELKINS -

Funeral services were held Wednesday in Elkins for five people killed in a fire last week.

Family and friends gathered at the Church of God to honor Alan Chamberlain, 29, Catherine Bolgar, 11, and Chamberlain's three children Alanna, 2, Brianna, 2, and Isabella, 4.

Elkins Mayor Van Broughton said a memorial fund at Citizens Bank has raised $18,000 so far.

Two people still remain in the West Penn Burn Center after last week's deadly fire in Elkins. Jennifer Chamberlain is still in critical condition, and Jeff Hyde is in serious condition.

The State Fire Marshal's Office said it has determined that the origin of the fire was in a couch on the side porch at the house, and said that it has found no indication or evidence that the fire was intentionally set.
