CHARLESTON, WV -

The Community Hospice in Ashland, KY will have a ceremony on Veterans Day to honor veterans.

The ceremony is open to the public and starts at 11:00 a.m.  The event will be held at the Community Hospice Care Center at 2330 Pollard Road.  Organizers plan to have the event outside but will be moved inside for bad weather if necessary.  A reception inside the center will follow the ceremony.

The ceremony will feature Gilda Hall, Executive Director of the Office of Kentucky Veterans Centers and will include music from the Russell High School Concert Band.

"This Veterans Day ceremony is just one way Community Hospice and its staff can recognize the commitment and sacrifice veterans have made for us and for our country.  We are pleased to have this opportunity to honor all area veterans," said Susan Hunt, Executive Director of Community Hospice.
