A local restaurant caught fire early this morning in Gallia County, OH.

Dispatchers with Gallia County 911 say the fire started just after 7 a.m. at Tuscany Cuccini Ristorante on Eastern Avenue.  Dispatchers say there are no reports of any injuries and the fire is out.  Investigators with the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office were also on scene.

No damage to surrounding property was reported.  The cause of the fire has not been determined.

The owner of the restaurant says he plans to begin rebuilding as soon as possible and should be open in the next two or three months.  About 16 people will lose their jobs until the restaurant is rebuilt.

Students at Valley Christian Middle School were sent home due to a power outage as a result of the fire, but power is now back on.  Gallipolis firefighters are still on the scene.
