The award winning men's vocal group Cantus will be performing in the Alexander Fine Arts Center Main Auditorium at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Fine Arts Center is located on Concord University's Athens campus at 1000 Vermillion Street, Athens.

Cantus is an all-male group that has traveled all over the world performing. They are highly reviewed, and sing a wide range of music including jazz, pop, folk, and spirituals, to name a few.

"Cantus is a world-class vocal performance group," said Tim Mainland, professor of music. "We are lucky to have them return to Concord a second time in five years. Their music is precise and beautiful, well-blended, and thoughtful. I hope the Concord community will turn out in big numbers for this opportunity to hear some of the finest music in the world today."

This event is part of the Performing Artist Series.  No tickets are necessary to attend, and it is free and open to the public. For information about the event, visit www.cuboxoffice.com or call 304-384-5101.
