Former pastor arrested in Carter County, KY on drug charges

Two men were arrested in Carter County, KY on drug charges on Nov. 15. 

According to a release from the F.A.D.E. Drug Task Force, Scott Gilliam and Brandon Logan were both arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and possession with intent to distribute.

Gilliam, 42, of Olive Hill, KY  is the former pastor The Holiness Tabernacle Church. According to investigators about 1,500-2000 oxycodone pills were found inside the church. He and Logan had been working together for some time. Both men were part of a national drug trafficking organization. The arrests were made as part of and undercover sting operation lasting over a year and a half.

Detectives with the task force are still investigating and more charges may be pending.  More arrests related to the investigation will take place in other areas.
