UPDATE: Suspect identified in Huntington, WV standoff

According to police, the suspect in the Huntington, WV standoff was identified as Jared Dwayne Triplett, 23, and he has been charged with one count of wanton endangerment.

He is being held in the Western Regional Jail on a $15,000 bond.



One man is in custody after a stand-off in Huntington, WV. 

According to Cabell County 911, the incident took place in home located in 1900 block of Adams Avenue around 7:45 p.m. this evening after some type of domestic situation.

There were reports of shots fired inside the home where the stand-off took place. However, there are no reported injuries at this time.

No word on what charges the man in custody will face.
