CHARLESTON, WV -

The "75" helmets worn by Marshall University during their win against Tulsa will remain a part of their uniform for the rest of year.

In a school press release, Director of Athletics Mike Hamrick said, "Members of the team approached me, Head Coach (Doc) Holliday and our administration and asked if they could continue this tribute after playing the first Nov. 14 road game since the 1970 plane crash. I think this is an excellent idea, because it shows how important the history of our program is to our student-athletes."
