ASHLAND, KY -

A special holiday event designed for autistic children will be held once again at Ashland Town Center.

The fourth annual Sensitive Santa holiday photo event will be held at the mall on Sunday, December 1, 2013  from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m.

The event is a way to offer children with autism the opportunity to have their picture taken sitting on Santa's lap.

The mall will be closed to shoppers and the music and lights will be turned down to create a sensory-friendly environment for the children.

Staff members will also be instructed to avoid loud, distracting movements.

The town center and Worldwide Photography will provide each family a free 4 x 6 photo keepsake for the Holidays.

The event is part of Ashland Town Center's Magical Season of Giving.
