CHARLESTON, WV -

A man is in jail on several warrants after a series of burglaries in Kentucky.

According to the Boyd County Sheriff's Department, Brett A. Parks was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Green Tree Trailer Court, located at 1109 W. New Buckley Road, in Ashland, KY, on the charges of burglary, possession of stolen firearms, and possession of a handgun of a convicted felon.

Police say thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, stolen firearms and tools, electronic items, and several other items were located.

Police say these items were stolen after a series of burglaries in Raceland and Ashland.

Parks is being held in the Greenup County Detention Center.
