CHARLESTON, WV -

Three times a week kids enter Butch Hiles' gym on Summers Street in Charleston, WV to not only practice the sport of wrestling, but life lessons.

After a roughly eight year absence of the program, Craig Smith saw an opportunity for the program and with more than half the kids first timers, it shows the need.

"That just proves how many kids have been missing out through the years," said Smith.

For the parents, the gym serves as a perfect place for the kids.

"This has been one of the spots I have been looking for about a year," said parent Glora Crouch.

"It keeps them out of trouble, motivated, active and in shape," said another parent Holly Smith.
