Warrant search leads to 2 arrests in Kanawha County, WV

Members of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office Warrant Division and Deputy United States Marshals arrested two people in Sissonville, WV on Nov. 19.

According to a release from the KCSO, the task force was originally searching for Jonathan Riccio, 35, of Sissonville, on charges of conspiracy, operating a clandestine laboratory, and two counts of exposing a minor to meth.

Members of the task force were led to an address on Shady Ridge Road and were answered at the door by Alisha Fisher, 24, of Sissonville.  Fisher also had active warrants for multiple misdemeanor charges according to the release. 

The release states that Fisher told police Riccio was not at the address.  Deputies knew that a relationship existed between Fisher and Riccio and they held Fisher while searching the home.  Riccio was found in a bedroom along with drug paraphernalia, a rifle and ammunition.  Riccio is a convicted felon and not allowed to be in possession of firearms, according to the release.

Fisher and Riccio were both arrested.  Fisher was taken to court and her bond was set at $500.00 cash.  She is being held in South Central Regional Jail.  Riccio was taken to South Central Regional Jail to be held for court proceedings and was charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
