In a hearing in Roane County Circuit court, Todd Honaker was scheduled to plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of his wife, Renee Honaker.

Renee died at their Looney Fork Home in March after authorities say Honaker gave her NBOMe, a drug similar to acid.

Authorities say he didn't call 911 or try to get Renee help.

During the hearing, Honaker told the judge he needed more time to think about his guilty plea.  His hearing has been rescheduled for Dec. 16.

The man accused of sending the drugs through the mail, Chad Renzelman, is facing federal charges in relation to the case.
