Despite Pittman's ejection, Marshall University takes down WKU

Leading scorer Elijah Pittman was ejected due to a fragrant-two foul just five minutes into the game, and the Herd overcame a sixteen point deficit to beat Western Kentucky, 74-64. Chris Thomas led all scores with 27 points. He finished 12-of-13 from the free throw line. He also added six steals.

Pittman finished with three points in his early exit. Marshall held WKU to just 22% field goal shooting in the second half. Kareem Canty added 15 points. 

Marshall is now 4-2 on the year. They will travel to play East Tennessee State University, Saturday, Nov. 30 at 4 p.m.
