    A long-time West Virginia State University associate professor and former Yellow Jacket football coach has been inducted into his high school's sports hall of fame.

CHARLESTON, WV -

Danielle Waltz Swann of the Charleston law firm Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso has been elected national conference chairwoman of the  Defense Research Institute's 2014 Construction Law Conference, to be held in San Diego with more than 500 expected to attend. 

In addition to her work as conference chairwoman, she also is serving as a three-year member of the DRI's Construction Law Group's leadership steering committee.

In Charleston, her practice emphasizes civil litigation in the areas of commercial, general and construction litigation. 

She represents national banks in consumer credit protection cases and has defended engineers, architects and contractors in complex construction matters. She also has represented state agencies.

She has expanded her practice to include government relations, where she is registered to lobby on behalf of a number of state and national corporations. 

DRI is an international membership organization of lawyers involved in the defense of civil litigation.
