CHARLESTON, WV -

Hartmanmullins, Government & Communications LLC, recently announced the addition of a new partner, longtime statehouse lobbyist Marc Harman.

Going forward, the firm will be known as Hartman, Harman & Mullins, Government & Communications LLC.

The addition of Harman, a former member of the House of Delegates from Grant County, expands the firm's existing experience in politics, policy and regulatory affairs.

He graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College at age 23 and was elected Grant County Circuit Clerk, making him the youngest elected county official in the United States at the time. He served in the House of Delegates for 10 years and was a member of the House Judiciary and Select Committee on Governmental Ethics.

Harman has represented senior issues and programs, agriculture, business, judicial reform and the press throughout his tenure as a lobbyist. He and his wife, Diane, have five children and six grandchildren.

Harman joins practicing attorney and lobbyist, Frank Hartman, who previously served as former Gov. Joe Manchin's consumer advocate for the West Virginia Insurance Commission. Hartman has also represented professional associations, advocacy groups, county officials and business interests.

To round out the firm, former long-time House of Delegates legislative analyst, John Mullins, whose lobbying focus has included nearly a decade of extensive health care issues and, more recently, education reform.

H2M will be a full-service, bipartisan lobbying and communications firm.
