CHARLESTON, WV -

Authorities are searching for two suspects in a case that stretches across two West Virginia counties. The Kanawha Bureau of Investigation is now helping with a stolen and forged checks case that started in Jackson County, WV in mid-November.

Investigators are asking for help from the public to identify the suspects in surveillance images from the Elkview 7-Eleven store where the duo allegedly passed one of the forged checks. One suspect is wearing a blue WVU sweatshirt with a camouflage coat. The other is wearing a blue coat and red hat. Both suspects are white men who were seen in a two-tone, older model Ford F-150.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Detective A. Pile of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office at 304-357-0556 or submit a tip online.
