    UPDATE: The July 27 fire at the Morris Building in downtown Huntington, WV is now under investigation. Investigators say it started in the elevator, which collapsed onto the 4th floor.

UPDATE:

Conference USA came out with their individual awards Wednesday afternoon. Marshall's Rakeem Cato was named offensive player of the year. Corey Tindal was named co-freshman of the year. 

ORIGINAL:

Conference USA announced their all-conferences teams Tuesday afternoon. 

Marshall put four on the first team. On the offense of side Chris Jasperse, Gator Hoskins and Tommy Schuler got first team honors. 

James Rouse was the lone Thundering Herd that made first team defense. 

TO SEE SECOND TEAM AND HONORABLE MENTIONS 

Marshall put five on the freshman team. On the defensive side Gary Thompson, Stefan Houston, A.J. Leggett, and Corey Tindal made the list. Offensively, offensive guard/center Michael Shelby made the list. 

The league's individual awards will be released Wednesday, December 11.
