CHARLESTON, West Virginia -

Two businesses in the tri-state are teaming up to help support their community during the holiday season.

According to a press release, Huntington Internal Medicine Group, along with Village Caregiving in Barboursville, West Virginia, will be sponsoring a drive for the less fortunate in our region.

Employees are collecting cleaning products for the residents of Throwbridge Manor Apartments in Huntington.

If possible, visitors to HIMG are asked to bring in cleaning products and place them in the containers provided at each clinic location.  Village Caregiving, located at 650/652 Main Street in Barboursville, will also have collection containers inside.

"Many of the residents of Throwbridge Manor are on limited incomes and could use some help around the holiday," said Andrew Maass, co-owner of the business.

According to the release, the drive is scheduled for Friday, December 13, through the following Friday.
