CHARLESTON, WV -

Allan McVey of St. Albans, WV joined the 13 sports team Friday. He was the winning bid at the St. Francis Foundation Annual Gala last month for the opportunity to be sportscaster of the day.

With the Capital Classic Saturday at the Civic Center in Charleston, Allan went around the Charleston Town Center to talk to fans of both teams. Instead of asking them what they thought about their own team, he had them talk about the rival team.

"They call it a big rivalry, but when it comes down to it we'll all in state family," said Marshall fan Tyrone Price.

"I love the atmosphere and love they have for their school," said WVU fan Carissa Funk.

The women game tips off at 1 p.m. A pre game show will begin at 7 p.m. as the men's game will follow at 7:30. A post game show will follow after the game. All coverage can be seen on WOWK.
