UPDATE:

According to City of Logan Fire Department, nothing was found.  The scene was cleared.

All of the businesses that were evacuated were re-opened.

No injuries were reported.

Crews are on the scene of a possible gas leak in Logan County, WV.

According to dispatchers, a strong odor of gas was reported in the area of the Fountain Place Mall, located on Route 119, as well as at the businesses of Wal-Mart, Bob Evans, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Dollar Tree, Reno's and Game Stop, at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28.

Dispatchers say the businesses have been evacuated.

The City of Logan Fire Department is on the scene investigating.  

Fire department officials say that so far, nothing has been found.  However, they say a rockslide occurred recently behind Game Stop, which may be related.  

The Logan County Sheriffs Department and the Logan City Police are on the scene helping with evacuations and traffic conditions.
