Work at the Harrison County Mine is scheduled to resume operations at midnight on , Tuesday, Jan. 21 after being temporarily idled Jan. 18.
Murray Energy purchased the mine, along with several others from CONSOL, in Dec. 2013.
The mine, formerly known as Robinson Run Mine, was temporarily idled to due a lack of adequate stockpile capacity, according to the company.
"Decisions will be made regarding the operating schedule of the Harrison County Mine going forward on the latter date," said Gary Broadbent, Murray Energy spokesman.
Murray Energy and its subsidiary companies employ approximately 7,100 people and operate 13 active mines, consisting of 12 underground longwall mining systems and 46 continuous mining units.
