Lucas Taylor has been selected for the newly created position of director of development at Potomac State College of West Virginia University.

After studying at PSC during the 1998-99 school year, Taylor earned a regents bachelor of arts degree with a secondary education specialization from Shepherd University.  

He also earned a master's of science degree in organizational leadership from Wheeling Jesuit University. Prior to arriving at Potomac State, Taylor worked as an assistant baseball coach at WJU, as a baseball player for three minor league teams — the Worcester (Mass.) Tornadoes, River City Rascals in Missouri and the Atlantic City (N.J.) Surf. He most recently served as a business administrator at Life Time Fitness in Cary, N.C.

He will immediately begin training as a college development officer with personnel from the WVU Foundation.
