HUNTINGTON, WV -

Kevin N. Fowler has been selected as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Cabell Huntington Hospital.

He now oversees a number of departments and functions of the hospital, and he will work closely with administration and medical staff to ensure the operational success of the facility.

He joined Cabell Huntington Hospital in October 2013 as the vice president of clinical services and has more than 22 years of health care experience including serving as the CEO for ESTAR Health System in Oklahoma and the CEO for Logan Regional Medical Center in southern West Virginia.

He earned his bachelor's degree from State University of New York in Plattsburgh and his master's degree in educational administration from Memphis State University in Tennessee. Prior to his health care career, he was a naval flight officer for 11 years. 

Cabell Huntington is a 303-bed academic medical center in Huntington. Home to the Hoops Family Children's Hospital and the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, Cabell Huntington provides care for patients from West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. It dates to 1956.
