Were pleased to have Dr. Friedman join our outstanding team at Reproductive Partners, said Dr. Gabriel Garzo, the centers medical director. In addition to her excellent surgical skills and impeccable credentials, shes warm and compassionate. Our patients will love her.
At Stanford, Dr. Friedman was the recipient of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons award for her outstanding surgical skills. Dr. Friedman has performed hundreds of egg retrievals and hysteroscopies.
I am so impressed with the quality of the staff at Reproductive Partners and their commitment to excellence, noted Dr. Friedman. Theres a unique academic and research oriented relationship between the center and UC San Diego that keeps Reproductive Partners at the forefront of this fast-changing field. That is exciting and important to me.
Dr. Friedmans current research centers on non-invasive time-lapse imaging of human embryonic development, a promising and groundbreaking technique that may allow fertility experts to successfully select the best embryos for transfer in a non-invasive manner.
Reproductive Partners-UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center is one of the top fertility centers in the nation and has a history of providing cutting edge care to patients. Last year, two of its patients were the first in the region to give birth to babies using a new egg preservation technique known as vitrification or flash freezing.
