HUNTINGTON, WV -

The Harlem Globetrotters "Smile Patrol" is making a stop in West Virginia. The tour, featuring Buckets Blake, is coming to the HOOPS Family Children's Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital on Friday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m.

Buckets will stop by to share laughs, take pictures, sign autographs, and share some of his Globetrotter ball handling skills with the young patients. Smile Patrol visits more than 200 children's hospitals each year. It was designed to brighten the day and lift the spirits of fans who are unable to attend a Globetrotters game. The Harlem Globetrotters is an exhibition basketball team that combines athleticism, theater, and comedy according to the web site.

The Harlem Globetrotters will be performing at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 7p.m. Tickets are still available at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena Box Office, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.
