Brothers arrested in Chillicothe domestic charges

CHILLICOTHE, OH -

Chillicothe Police were called a home along the 300 block of E. Second St, after receiving reports of a man in a house with a handgun around 10 PM Saturday.

When police arrived they were told that Tyler Johnson had allegedly assaulted his mother, and then brandished a small caliber handgun and had refused to leave upon officers request.

The Chillicothe Police Department Response Team were called to the scene in an attempt to talk Tyler out of the home. Tyler eventually surrendered and was arrested.

After Tyler Johnson was arrested, his brother Jason Johnson had arrived at the scene and entered the home. A short time later Jason Johnson ran at officers with his hand in the waistband of his pants and yelling obscenities, and began fighting with officers as they attempted to arrest him

Tyler Johnson was arrested and charged with domestic violence inducing panic, additional charges are still pending. Justin Johnson was arrested and charged with obstructing official business, and resisting arrest.
