CLARKSBURG -

Update

The city of Clarksburg announced the winner of its Mangia Madness Tournament Wednesday.  Kelly's Irish Pub took home the honors, announced in a YouTube video issued by the city on Twitter.

Original story

The city of Clarksburg is holding its own version of March Madness with Mangia Madness.

It's a tournament between all the restaurants in city limits where the public gets to choose the best one.

It's a bracket tournament and the winning restaurant gets a trophy, and bragging rights.

The person with the closest bracket to the winning one will also get prizes like Splash Zone tickets.

John Nardelli, the marketing and community relations specialist for the city, said this is a good way to remind people of all the great restaurants in the area.

"I think this is a great opportunity to publicize the places people may have forgotten and we've got so many great places to eat in Clarksburg and we need to be reminded of the options we have available. The businesses have done so well for the city of Clarksburg this is our opportunity to extend our thanks to them," said Nardelli.
