CLARKSBURG -

With the big oil and gas boom it can be hard to find places to live in Clarksburg with all the extra people, but soon NCWV Investments will be opening a number of rental properties right in downtown Clarksburg.

Paul Howe, Eric Leaseburg, and Mike Caputo with NCWV Investments have been working since last summer to bring apartments into the downtown area.

The group built a new building on Lee Avenue.

"This property we purchased from two different individuals and thanks to the city's demolition program it made these lots available to build something new on," said Howe.

That property will have both two bedroom and one bedroom units, and will have various amenities.

"We're going to have off street parking, full kitchen, washer and dryer and storage," Howe explained.

The two bedroom apartments will run $900 a month and the one bedroom apartments will be $750 a month.

Howe said there is a need for quality housing in downtown Clarksburg.

"Quality housing, people are looking for it it's just not available, let alone housing in general. This gives us an opportunity for us to work within the community and it's a good investment," said Howe.

NCWV Investments is also renovating a property you might recognize on Milford Street.

"Milford Street is a 1930's construction and a lot of people in the area would know it as the Riverbend Motel. We're rehabbing that and turning those into one bedroom apartments. Those will have full kitchens and we will include the utilities in those," Howe explained.

Howe said both apartment buildings should be ready to rent in 60 to 90 days.

If you are interested in these apartments you can call NCWV Investments at 304-627-5937.
