Healy E. Baumgardner-Nardone was born and raised in Marshall County and she resides in Wheeling with her husband, Dr. Emil Nardone, and their two four-legged children, Pucci (a giant Schnauzer) and Bruiser (a Neapolitan Mastiff). 

She attended West Virginia University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in public relations/journalism. She also enjoys exercising, cooking, interior decorating and reading in her spare time. She said she likes to incorporate prayer and positive thinking in her everyday life.

"It's certainly an honor to be recognized for your talents and hard work," she said of receiving the award.
