One man was arrested for crashing into a garage in Charleston, WV.

According to Cpl. Brian Jones with the Charleston Police Department who responded to the scene and is handling this investigation, Estill Forrest Jones III, 32, of Charleston, was arrested and charged with DUI of a controlled substance.

Cpl. Jones says that this occurred at 1509 Chandler Drive at 9:55 a.m. Saturday, March 8, in which Estill Jones was driving eastbound on Chandler Drive, swerved to avoid a dog, and ran into a garage, that was separate from a house.

No one was injured, however, Jones' vehicle was destroyed and the garage suffered heavy damage.

Cpl. Jones says that the Charleston Fire Department, who also responded to the scene, had to use cribbing to support the garage's roof so that they could safely get out the vehicle, that was being stored inside the garage by the homeowner.

According to Cpl. Jones, Estill Jones will be arraigned at the Kanawha County Magistrate Court Saturday night, and will then be taken to the South Central Regional Jail.
