One man is in custody for murder after a body was found in Gallia County, OH.

According to a news release issued by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, James Arrowood, of Gallia County, was arrested and charged with one count of murder on Sunday, March 9.

The news release says this charge stems from an investigation that started on March 5 into the disappearance of Aaron Charles, of Jackson County, who had not been seen for days.

Charles was found dead in Gallia County Saturday evening of March 8.

The news release says that Sheriff Ted Frazier of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office confirmed Arrowood was arrested and remains in custody at the Jackson County Jail, while the case is being forwarded to Jackson County Prosecutor Justin Lovett.
