Jon Boyer is no doubt a hot looking man, he's got a smile that will melt your heart and muscles that could cripple anyone.  His heart though, it is made of the softest gold and he's rescuing kittens.  That's right...he's rescuing kittens!  Did we mention he's a Baltimore police officer?

"It's kind of weird to me," he told The Huffington Post. "I don't really like the attention. But if it helps the animals..."

This is the photo that started it all and you can't say it's not adorable, because it is.

"I heard some kitten yelps from the vacant house. I saw the kitten, I picked her up. She was kind of snuggled right here," Boyer said to WJZ-TV.

"And it just kind of snowballed from there… wasn't expecting all the attention I'm getting now," said Boyer.

Show Your Soft Side posted this status: "Officer Boyer came to the rescue twice today. First when he came to the aid of a stray kitten and again, a few hours later, when he adopted him. (That now makes Officer Boyer a kitty dad times six.)"

Show Your Soft Side is a community organization dedicated to raise awareness about the incidence of animal abuse in Baltimore.  Now, more than ever, they love Officer Boyer.  So do women all over the world.  In fact, they're falling head over heels in love with him (a few men are too) and the marriage proposals are coming in right and left.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter auctioned off a date for $370.  "The winner was actually two twin sisters," says Sandy Riesett who created the ad campaign which features hunky men cuddling kittens. "For their date, he first took them to BARCS where they cuddled kitties -– but to this day, I still don't know what they did afterwards!"

"I am really just out here to do my job, to protect the citizens of Baltimore and the animals, and to make sure we all go home at the end of the day and the citizens are safe," Boyer told WJZ-TV.

There is one thing Officer Boyer is afraid of and it's spiders.  That's okay Officer Boyer, we forgive you...kill at will.
