WHEELING, W.Va -

Wheeling Police have released footage capturing a bank robber who walked into the United Bank in downtown Wheeling with a knife and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The video is from bank security cameras and shows a man with a hooded sweatshirt, but the footage doesn't give a clear look at the suspect's face.

Police have been searching for this man ever since the bank was robbed shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday. He took off on foot and eventually got away in a car. Officers are searching for any other video from nearby cameras that could give them a better look.
