A pastor and his family are recovering after a fire late Wednesday night in Tyler County.

Multiple fire crews responded to the fire around 10 p.m. at the Middlebourne First Baptist Church Parsonage on Fair Street in Middlebourne.

According to the church clerk, Pastor Troy Guild and his family are in good condition, but the parsonage is heavily damaged.

The fire started in the upstairs of the home but all members of the Guild family were evacuated successfully.

primarily at orphanages in Mexico.
