CHARLESTON, WV -

All lanes of I-64, between the Nitro and Institute exits, are back open after being shut down late Thursday night.

METRO 911 dispatchers tell us it's so crews could repair a low hanging power line.

According to dispatchers, New Goff Mountain Road going across the hill to Bayer was also shut down, but is also re-opened.

Dispatchers say traffic was being diverted off of both the Nitro and Institute exits to 1st Avenue South in both directions.

Work will resume in these areas sometime Friday.
