The West Virginia Board of Governors held a special meeting on Friday.  The BOG finally gave approval to start a $53 million improvement project on the PRT.

The project will include new substations, electrical gear, and a brand new train control system.

Students will pay more than $10 a year in university fees to help finance the project.

The board also approved a new master plan for athletic facilities which will cost more that $100 million dollars. That money will come from the Big 12 revenue, media rights, and private donations.
