The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office arrested a man wanted on a circuit court capias related to a transferring and receiving charge, as well as a brandishing warrant.

According to deputies, Eden Holt Wolfe, 34, of Kanawha County, was arrested Thursday, April 3, after he contacted the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office to turn himself in. Wolfe told police he was tired of running and met deputies at the Standard Baptist Church near Gallagher in Kanawha County.

Wolfe was wearing a camouflage top, and nothing else. Wolfe was treated at CAMC General Hospital for scratches to his face, legs, arms, and what appeared to be snake bite(s) after he told police he reportedly fell into a snake pit.

Wolfe was later transferred to the South Central Regional Jail and is being held on a $2,500 bond.
