New York, NY / ACCESSWIRE / April 15, 2014 / SeeThruEquity, a leading New York City based independent equity research and corporate access firm focused on smallcap and microcap public companies, today announced that it has issued a quarterly update on DecisionPoint Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: DPSI) (“DPSI”) for fiscal Q4 2013 and FY 2013.

“We continue to view DPSI as an emerging provider and integrator of enterprise systems and software services targeting the fast-growing market for mobile data. Our price target remains $1.67,” commented Ajay Tandon, CEO of SeeThruEquity.

Highlights of the quarter and year are as follows:

- 4Q13 and 2013 reported revenues were $14.6mn and $60.7mn, respectively. These results were down 15.7% and 15.1% compared with 4Q12 and 2012. The reduction came almost entirely from reduced hardware sales.

- Gross profit margin was 21% for 2013, essentially flat with 21.8% in 2012. DPSI’s margins for professional services were 31%, and we expect this mix to improve for the company throughout 2014E.

- DPSI guided to 1Q14E revenue of $14.5-15.5mn and significantly reduced SG&A expense for 2014E, as it has successfully completed the integration of the acquisitions it made in 2012.
