Woman charged with murdering boyfriend in Lesage, WV

UPDATE:

According to Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas, 56-year-old Frank Oldaker was killed by his girlfriend, 50-year-old Angela Chapman, who was charged with first degree murder.

Chapman was arraigned Thursday evening and is being held in the Western Regional Jail.

If convicted, Chapman could face up to life in prison.

According to police at the scene, one male is dead after being shot in the head, while a female was detained and was taken to the Cabell County Sheriff's Office.

Police are on the scene of a shooting in Cabell County, WV.

According to dispatchers, it happened in the area of Big Seven Mile Road and Blue Sulphur Road in Lesage at 4:57 p.m. Thursday, April 17.

Dispatchers say one person was shot.

The extent of their injuries are not yet known.

The Cabell County Sheriff's Office and the West Virginia State Police are on the scene investigating.
