    A long-time West Virginia State University associate professor and former Yellow Jacket football coach has been inducted into his high school's sports hall of fame.

HUNTINGTON, WV -

Two associates of Huntington law firm Jenkins Fenstermaker, Eleni Kontos-Miller and Nate Kuratomi, have been elected members of the firm.

Kontos-Miller has been with Jenkins Fenstermaker since 2009. Her practice concentration is in insurance defense litigation, medical malpractice defense and insurance coverage.

She is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law. She earned her bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

She is a member of the West Virginia Bar Association and the Cabell County Bar Association as well as the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, a statewide organization of defense trial lawyers and corporate counsel, where she most recently served as the chairwoman of the Insurance Law Committee.

Kuratomi has been with Jenkins Fenstermaker since 2006. He defends municipalities and police officers in civil rights cases and also concentrates his practice in employment litigation, deliberate intent and premises liability/personal injury.

He is a graduate of Penn State's Dickinson School of Law and earned his bachelor's degree from Marshall University.

He is a member of the West Virginia Bar Association, the Defense Trial Counsel and DRI.

Requisites for membership at Jenkins Fenstermaker include consistent performance of high-quality legal work, the development of client relationships, tenure and commitment to the practice of law.

Successful candidates also are expected to possess superior professional and personal character and judgment and to demonstrate honesty, self-control, confidence, reliability and professional independence.

They also must be highly regarded by their peers and are encouraged to assume leadership roles in civic, religious and charitable organizations.
